Attempted kidnapping of a young girl in Mallorca

Attempted kidnapping of a young girl in Palma de Mallorca.

National police officers are investigating the attempted kidnapping of a five-year-old girl. The attempted kidnapping took place in the middle of the street in Palma.

According to police sources, the attempted kidnapping took place at around 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. A man tried to kidnap the girl from Caballero d’Asphelt street.

The man was driving a scooter and had his face hidden. He allegedly grabbed the girl who was walking with her mother.

The man would have managed to walk a few meters with the child. He then fell on a van. He let the child go and fled the scene.

The national police are investigating this shocking incident. The suspect has not yet been identified and no arrests have been made.
