Britney Spears and her sister Jamie Lynn have rekindled their public feud after a new TV interview sparked old problems in the couple’s relationship. The Britney Spears family feud has been going on since the singer was released from the tutelage of her father Jamie Spears for more than a decade.

The singer accused her younger brother of using the interview on Wednesday to promote her new book “at my expense”. Britney said Jamie Lynn “never had to work for anything” and the family “love to pull me down and hurt me”.

Jamie Lynn said Britney’s statements were “absolutely not the truth” and that she was “always there” for her sister. The 30-year-old also said she had to explain to her children “why our family continues to receive death threats, because of the vague and accusatory messages from their aunt, especially when you know she can tell the truth”.

What did Jamie Lynn Spears say?

In the TV interview that reset the Britney Spears family feud, Jamie Lynn spoke to ABC’s Good Morning America to launch his new book Things I Should Have Said. The book tells the story of her life, including her relationship with Britney and her role in the controversial Guardianship.

She told the program: “When [the conservatorship] was set up, I was 17, about to have a baby, so I didn’t understand what was going on, and I didn’t focus on it either.

Jamie Lynn went on to suggest that her sister approached her to ask if she “would be the person who would make sure her boys got what they needed,” which she agreed. But, she continued, “Once I realized that ‘you know what, she’s in a trusteeship’, I felt like I just didn’t want to be a part of. [it] until she may be out of wardship. So there was no me to oversee the funds or anything like that, and if it was, it’s a misunderstanding, but anyway, I took no action to be a part of it. .

Writing on Twitter, Britney said: “I looked at my phone and saw my sister did her interview to promote her book.

“The two things that bothered me and my sister said was how out of control my behavior was.

“She was never around me 15 years ago then… so why are we talking about this unless she wants to sell a book at my expense.”

Meanwhile, The Sun has announced that Britney will be sitting down with Oprah Winfrey for a revealing interview later this year.

This has yet to be confirmed, but the singer recently posted on Twitter that she wanted to be interviewed by Oprah about her life, including the ever-brewing Britney Spears family feud.
