Samia Longchambon of Coronation Street who plays Maria has revealed the most difficult death scenes of all time.

Samia Longchambon of Coronation Street who plays Maria has revealed that the most difficult death scenes she has ever filmed were saying goodbye to dogs.

The actress said the scenes with Ozzy the dying dog in 2016 were the saddest moments she was involved in during the show.

Samia has appeared with many dogs over the past two decades, including Ozzy, Eccles, and Monica.

Despite a number of difficult scenes, Samia said it was the loss of a dog that was the most difficult to film.

“Oh my God, it was awful, it was so sad,” Samia told TeamDogs Fetch. Hunt. To eat. To sleep. Repeat. Podcast.

“We were very close to Ozzy anyway. He was with us all the time, his whole life actually.

“It was so sad because we were saying goodbye to Ozzy because he wouldn’t have been at work anymore.”

“These scenes were the easiest for me to cry (over). Sometimes you have crying scenes and you have to prepare for it. “

“But actually, I didn’t have to think of anything sad other than the actual scene and what was going on to make me cry.”

Samia, 39, also spoke of her devastation when she lost her own Maltese dog Sonny, who died in 2017 and aged 11.

“It was really, really heartbreaking. It was devastating for us, ”she said of her loss.

“None of us will forget the day we had to take him to the vet and say goodbye. It was horrible. “
