The pandemic has increased the intensity of poverty in Spain and in just one year, fifteen autonomous communities have seen a doubling of households that have difficulties to face payments related to housing, assume unforeseen expenses or make ends meet.
It is one of the main conclusions of the report “The State of Poverty. Monitoring of the indicator of poverty and social exclusion in Spain 2008-2020”, prepared by the European Network for the Fight against Poverty and Social Exclusion in the Spanish State (EAPN -ES) that was presented this Thursday.
