Constant value in world shooting, Anna Korakaki, one of the biggest names in the sport, remains in the top 10 despite the break. Nikos Mavromatis showed an increase, but also the new group of Greek shooters.

There were two representatives of Greece in Tokyo 2021 with the gold medalist of Rio in the 25m, in the 10m airgun – 25m pistol and with Mavrommatis in the skit race.

In the men’s skit Mavrommatis from the 22nd place went up to the 18th with 2230 points. In the same category, Makis Mitas is 55th with 838 points.

Importantly, they have taken a place in the top 30 young shooters in men’s trap and women’s skating. The 22-year-old Ioannis Hatzitsakiroglou, who came very close to his first Olympic qualification in the European Shooting Championship, is 22nd on the trap with 2045 points. In skating, 19-year-old Emmanuela Katzouraki, who a few days ago won the bronze medal with Nikos Frantzeskakis at the World Junior Mixed Skating Championships, is in 26th place with 1897. Hatzitsakiroglou and Katzouraki in Greece and may in three years star in the shooting range in Paris.
