T20 World Cup 2021: “They have a lot of grapplers but they lack great hitters on the wing.”

Former cricketer turned expert Aakash Chopra acknowledges that the lack of a power hitter in Pakistan’s batting lineup is a concern for the team.
The 44-year-old opined that Babar Azam’s side has many scoffers in its ranks, but has a shortage of strike power in the medium or low order.
While the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 qualifiers are underway, the main tournament will kick off on October 23 in the United Arab Emirates. The Pakistan national team has an excellent record in the Middle East, winning each of their last 11 T20I matches.
Aakash Chopra, while watching the Pakistan team for the World Cup, posted a video on his YouTube channel. You can watch Chopra’s video below:

While praising Pakistan for having a good mix of youth and experience on the flank, Chopra clarified that they lack a suitable great hitter on the flank.
“They have a lot of grafters in the batting lineup. Rizwan, Babar, Hafeez. But the only thing missing is strike power. They don’t have players who can hit big shots in death overs like Pollard or Andre Russell.”
The former Indian starter also feels that Men in Green’s greatest strength lies in his bowling unit. Chopra mentioned that skipper Babar Azam will have a variety of bowling options to choose from.
“Their bowling unit is good. They have a lot of those spinning SUVs. Mohammad Nawaz, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Hafeez and Shoaib Malik can bowling too.
“The spinners will be largely useful on these surfaces. Their greatest strength lies in their bowling unit with pacemakers like Haris Rauf, Shaheen Afridi and Hasan Ali with them,” Chopra said.

Aakash Chopra also made a bold prediction for the 2021 T20 World Cup final. The 44-year-old hopes his archrivals India and Pakistan will meet in the final match of the competition on November 14 in Dubai.
The two teams will meet on October 24 in the first match of Group 2 in the Super 12 of the T20 World Cup.
In his video, Chopra predicted the finalists of the tournament and said:
“Definitely, Pakistan will at least make it to the semi-finals of the tournament. I have a feeling it will be a repeat of the 2007 WC final. I think India and Pakistan can meet again in the final this time.”
Drawn into Group 2 with India, New Zealand, Afghanistan and two other qualifying teams yet to be defined, Pakistan will begin their campaign against Virat Kohli’s team on Sunday.
