The neurobiologist Rafael Yuste, from Madrid living in the United States, was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M) this Tuesday, in recognition of “his relevant scientific and academic contributions”, especially in brain research.

Yuste (Madrid, 1963) is the promoter of the BRAIN project (“brain” in English and which responds to the acronym for Brain Research through Innovative Vanguard Neurotechnologies), which seeks to carry out a kind of mapping of the brain.
