Trump will appear today in a deposition video after being sued by Mexicans after the protest.
The attacks on President Trump never end.
The Daily Mail reported:
Former President Trump will appear today in a videotaped deposition as part of a lawsuit related to a demonstration outside his New York City building during his campaign in 2015, according to an order from a Bronx judge.
A group of Mexican protesters allege they were attacked outside Trump Tower by security guards. They were protesting Trump’s comments about Latin American immigrants while he was running for president.
The lawsuit names multiple defendants, including Trump, his campaign, and his former security chief Keith Schiller.
The former president said in a 2016 affidavit that he was unaware of the altercation and was not directly involved in hiring security personnel. His lawyer had tried to get him out of testifying, but a judge ruled that his testimony was “indispensable.”
Trump is in the middle of at least 10 civil lawsuits.
